Mars Landscape and NASA Rover

Can you believe the awesome photos coming from our Mars Rover on the surface of our neighboring Red Planet, spectacular indeed. Do we fully understand what we are truly looking at when we see these images?

Shouldn’t we use the study of patterns of erosion to help us explain what we see when our Unmanned Robotic Probes send us brilliant pictures back of other Worlds? Should we use these methodologies to tell us of previous events, first events and ancient cataclysmic events, which originally shaped all that we see and know?

It is fascinating that Stephen Wolfram notes so many patterns in his work yet fails to identify patterns of erosion as one of nature’s designs? Why was he looking here? Was he able to prove his hypothesis with these patterns of erosion, if so why? And why did no one else see it and if they did why didn’t they say it. Are we busy looking to a simplistic formula in the creation of the first event that we failed to recognize the obviousness of interacting patterns upon one another? Yet the most simple designer of such programs found it for us?

NASA Needs More Money and More Efficient Methods

NASA needs to watch its expenditures better and ditch all the rules and regulations that they have. But this is the problem with every corporation in America too. If we would relieve our Corporations from all these politically correct rules and regulations then we would indeed have less off shoring and outsourcing and if we do the same for NASA, they would be able to get more done on a lot less of a budget.

NASA must continue to propel the forward progress of mankind, but we as taxpayers also need a bigger bang for our buck and therefore we need more efficiency. But if we over burden them with too many rules and regulations to prevent risk then real innovation on any real relevant time scale simply will not take place and thus the future and forward progression of our species will suffer both in the present period and future periods.

NASA Discovers Life On Drubber 3

There’s good news for scientists and others who have been hoping we’d discover life in outer space.

It exists on a planet called Drubber 3, says NASA.

NASA has been monitoring radio transmissions from this distant dot in the cosmos, but after studying them closely, the agency is disturbed by the content, and considering censorship.

It seems Drubber 3 has show after show featuring hosts that are the intergalactic equivalent of Howard Stern.

They curse, promote obscenity and promiscuity, and play terrible music.

Plus, they think nothing of promoting warfare and conquest.

Unfortunately, they know we exist, and they’re intent on channeling their smut our way, NASA warns.

Business Aviation Networking Notes

The process of finding out about a job, getting interviewed, and eventually receiving an offer for employment starts with networking. By networking I don’t mean sending hundreds of copies of your resume unsolicited to H.R. managers throughout the country, but by establishing contacts with people who may be in a position to hire you or refer you to someone who does the hiring. Let’s take a look at some ways to help you break in to business aviation by following certain tips.

In corporate aviation, there are several key players in the field that you probably have heard of. Jet Aviation, TAG, and Netjets are some of the larger players and they all have a staff of qualified flight attendants or cabin service representatives on hand. In addition, smaller players including Jet Alliance, Clay Lacy Aviation, and Trans Exec are part of the charter market. Finally, you have a whole host of independent flight departments with one, two or more aircraft. Some of these operators utilize larger cabin aircraft and are in need of flight attendants.

Lowering Your Aviation Insurance Premium

“How can I get the best rate on my insurance?”
This is one of the most common questions in the insurance business. Everyone wants the best coverage at the lowest rate, so here are some tips that may help you lower your premium at your next renewal.

ANNUAL TRAINING
Annual recurrent training is often required for higher coverage limits, pressurized or turbine-powered aircraft. Even if it isn’t required, some underwriters will offer lower rates or better coverage for pilots who take this training. Ideally, recurrent training consists of a manufacturer-recommended simulator program. For some piston aircraft, in-aircraft training programs may be approved. This is usually the only choice when manufacturer-recommended programs are not available. This training can include the FAA Pilot Proficiency Program (WINGS) requirements, which we highly recommend. Underwriters also favor current, proficient pilots. Be sure you have logged at least 20 flight hours in the last 12 months, or you may be required to get additional training.

ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS
Some aviation ownership clubs and advocacy groups, such as the AOPA and EAA have special insurance programs that can provide a discount for their members. Though the groups may recommend a specific agent, all independent agencies have access to these programs. You don’t have to change agents to get the best price. Make sure your memberships are current and that your agent is aware of your membership ID numbers.

Garmin Aviation GPS - The Powerful Handheld For Pilots

Garmin Aviation GPS (Global Positioning System) is handheld and have all the features of the panel mounted units. Garmin aviation GPS is the latest GPS that has log-book compatible features, which makes flight reporting even easier.

In order to reduce the noise levels in the high noise environment like aircrafts, and integrating disparate audio sources, a high-tech intercom apparatus called Aviation headset is used. With rich color and high resolution display, the Garmin aviation GPS is also a fully equipped GPS with background land mapping and jeppesen databases. With the features like the terrain-mapping, obstacle-alerting function along with the presentation slides with charts has added beauty to this GPS and thus shows it unique and exceptional from the rest. In short it is like flying with a portable MFD (Multi-Function Displays) Hence Garmin aviation GPS is the most potential networking application of all GPS.

GPS can be taken as the most essential aircraft collision avoidance system. Which is a must have for any pilot. An entire aircraft collision avoidance system should definitely contain an aviation headset adapted to be worn by a user. A GPS receiver is basically used for receiving GPS signals and determining a position of a user.

We often here about Think Tanks in the news, but what do they really do? What problems do they solve and what do they think about? Well, as a coordinator for the Online Think Tank you would be surprised at all the topics and the sub-topics are also incredible as well.

Not long ago we were contacted by a lady with a degree in aviation safety and she wondered if she qualified for the Online Think Tank. Indeed, aviation safety is very important and we have the safest skies anywhere in the world now. Aviation Safety has never been better, but that is no reason to stop there, as there can always be improvement.

A Degree in Aviation Sciences, Aerodynamics, Aviation Safety or Other Experience

Many people graduate from high-tech colleges that offer Aviation Degrees and some also attend the famous Embry Riddle Aviation colleges. Aviation Sciences are cool and I am a pilot and study such things as well and I can tell you that those with a knowledge in aviation can bring a lot to the table in a Think Tank.

If you are interested in joining a Think Tank and participating in Aviation Topics and you have a degree in aviation, are a pilot or simply love aircraft, then perhaps you might consider joining a Think Tank that specializes in aviation endeavors? Ask yourself; What sort of work do I do now in the aviation sector.

How Dose Garmin Aviation GPS Work?

Anyone interested in aviation will need an aviation headset as well as some knowledge about GPS and how it assists pilots. One of the best GPS on the market for aviation is Garmin aviation GPS. The following information will show how the Garmin aviation GPS works and why it is important for pilots.

First of all, GPS stands for Global Positioning System. GPS relies on a network of 24 satellites to assist in navigation. The satellites are in space thanks to the US Department of Defense however everyone can use the technology if they have a GPS system thanks to the system becoming available in the 80s for use by al. GPS works despite the weather, location, and time of day. GPS is free to use although the actual device to detect the signal must be purchased.
